me.I am currently living in South Korea teaching English. It seems wild to think how I got here, but honestly looking back it becomes more clear. My background is in Illustration with a BFA from Northern Illinois University. After graduating, I moved to Tennessee where I received a teaching license from Middle Tennessee State University in December 2018. During my placement at La Vergne High School, there was a job opening so immediately after graduation I was hired full-time. Studying abroad in Spain, Italy, and Switzerland during my undergrad sparked my curiosity about the world and all of its mysteries, which I implement into my lessons to inspire students to think on a larger scale. Yet, after 3 1/2 years of teaching at La Vergne High School I needed a change, and believe it or not my students were the ones that got me interested in Korean culture with their love for BTS and K-dramas. Then I was told of teaching opportunities abroad and now I have combined two new passions teaching and Korea!
